Washington Independent Innkeepers Network – The Heart behind the Experience

Join us on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the historic Bush House Inn in Index, Washington, for the Washington Independent Innkeepers Network (WIIN) 2026 Annual Conference. This year’s theme, “The Heart Behind the Experience,” will inspire you to see your inn through a new lens by exploring three pillars that create unforgettable guest experiences: Story, Place, and Community.

Discover how to tell your unique story in ways that resonate with today’s travelers, showcase the authentic character of your destination, and build meaningful partnerships that connect guests to the people, businesses, and experiences that make your community special. Learn practical ways to use digital marketing and social media to extend your story before, during, and after every guest’s stay. You’ll leave with fresh ideas, actionable strategies, and renewed inspiration to create memorable experiences that encourage guests to return—and enthusiastically share your inn with others.

Whether you’re a seasoned innkeeper or just beginning your journey, you’ll spend the day learning alongside fellow independent innkeepers who share your passion for exceptional hospitality. Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your business, expand your professional network, and help shape the future of independent innkeeping in Washington.

History of WIIN

The Washington Independent Inns Network, (WIIN) formerly the Washington Bed and Breakfast Guild (WBBG) was formed by 50 charter members in 1986. This group’s concept for the Guild was to provide an information network throughout the state for member B&B’s as well as developing a strong voice for the industry with state regulatory and tourism agencies. In November 2018 the Guild changed its name to the Washington Independent Inns Network (WIIN) and opened its membership to include properties not serving breakfast.
