The Bush House Inn is a beautifully restored historic mountain destination featuring 10 guest rooms, a detached Cottage and an on-site restaurant opening in summer of 2023. Our rooms have been tastefully updated with in-floor heating, new windows, refinished hardwood floors, and ceiling fans and are furnished with functional vintage wardrobes, hand-tied rugs, blackout curtains, and historic photographs. With two indoor event spaces, the Bush House Inn is ideal for private and public gatherings and celebrations. The community of Index is centrally located for exploring nature both passively and actively with easy access to hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, and winter sports.
